Engagements · All Lines Business Solutions
The scope comes first. Then the price.
Most firms quote you a retainer before they know what your books actually look like. We do it the other way around. You tell us the shape of the business — entities, accounts, transaction volume, headcount, what is already handled and what is not — and the monthly retainer is priced from that. Not guessed at beforehand.
Fixed-price services are published below, because they are the same job for everyone. Everything scope-dependent is quoted after the intake.
How pricing actually works here
Three steps, and you know the number before any work starts.
A conversation
A 30-minute call to understand what you need and whether we are the right fit. No obligation, no pitch deck.
The intake
A structured intake document captures the scope and size of the work: legal entities, accounts, monthly transaction volume, headcount, payroll, tax position, prior filings and what you already have in place. This is what makes the number real instead of a guess.
The quote
Your retainer is priced from the intake — then, and not before. You see the figure and the scope it covers before committing to anything.
Why we will not quote a number on this page. A travelling barber with three chairs, a fleet to insure and mileage to track is not the same engagement as a biosciences company carrying inventory, patents, royalties, licensing and compliance across multiple entities — even though both need a fractional CFO. What drives the retainer is the work: how many entities, how many accounts, how much compliance, how much of the consultative load sits with us. A number published before we know any of that would either scare off the simple engagement or lose us money on the complex one. So we scope first.
Priced after intake
These engagements are scoped and quoted per company. Nothing here has a published rate, because no two are the same job.
Fractional CFO
Cash flow forecasting, budget planning, financial strategy and board-ready reporting. The seat you need before you can justify a full-time CFO.
- Cash flow forecasting and budget planning
- Monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Financial strategy and advisory
- Direct access to a CFO, not a queue
Quoted after intakedepends on entities, volume and compliance load
Fractional COO
Operations strategy, process improvement, vendor management and SOP development. For owners who are still the operational bottleneck.
- Operations strategy and process improvement
- Vendor management and SOP development
- Scoped to your actual constraint
Quoted after intakescoped to the operation
Fractional AIIO / CTO
Technology strategy, system architecture and security-first infrastructure advisory from someone accountable for the outcome.
- Technology strategy and system architecture
- Security-first infrastructure advisory
- Vendor and tooling evaluation

What the intake captures
The information that turns a range into your actual number.
Entity structure
Legal entity type and how many entities sit behind the business. This is the single biggest driver of complexity.
Volume & accounts
Monthly transaction volume, bank accounts, cards and payment processors. Sets the bookkeeping band.
People & payroll
W-2 employee count and contractor mix, plus any state withholding or SUI accounts already open.
Tax position
Prior-year returns, filings outstanding, and where you currently stand with federal and state obligations.
Published entry points
A handful of services are the same job for everyone, so they carry a published starting price. These are the low-friction ways to begin.
Bookkeeping
Monthly reconciliation, categorisation and statements. Priced by transaction band, not by guesswork.
From $250per month, up to 400 transactions
Payroll
Payroll run, filings across state and federal obligations, reconciled back into the books.
From $150per month, up to 10 people
Web presence
One-page landing site, professional email on your own domain, and Google Business Profile setup.
$595one time · $19.99/mo email service
Bookkeeping and payroll combined start at $400 per month. Tax return preparation is priced by form and quoted before filing. Everything else is scoped through the intake.
Start with the conversation.
Thirty minutes tells us both whether this is a fit. If it is, we move to the intake and price it properly.
